The Nature of Science

Science – It's one way we make sense of the world around us. We observe, wonder, predict, gather data, test, and accumulate evidence. There are many methods science uses to gather data and learn about a natural process or system, and there's special characteristics that are unique to a scientific way of knowing as compared to other means. This video explores those characteristics. Science IS all around us, and it's important we understand what it is, what it isn't, and areas beyond its reach.
