A report on recent trends in Americans' understanding of climate change, highlighting several evidence-based communication strategies for scientists.

Dr. Anthony Leiserowitz is director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication and principal investigator for the landmark reports on Global Warming's Six Americas. The reports summarize a multiyear research project that has gathered and analyzed extensive data on Americans' interpretations of and responses to climate change.

This webinar is the second of two provided as background in preparation for release of the first part of the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC AR5).
